Ron,
Would you be referring to the bike or the catalog there?
You are succumbing to the allure of velocity over speed. In the philosophy
of Peter Egan, velocity is a fact, as in "110 mph", whereas speed is a
sensation, as in "we went fast in the Spridget", despite the fact that the
speedo never went over 75 mph. The biggest differences are in bragging
rights and in the numbers following the dollar sign after the flashing
lights go off. One of the things that I love about my Midget is that I can
have more legal fun on the street than a Corvette can. The Corvette has to
go over 100mph to achieve the sensation of speed that I can get at 65mph.
Heck, I can do that without breaking any laws ;-)
So what was your cylinder count yesterday, Ron? I estimate it as somewhere
between 22 and 28. Mine was merely 4, but they were all Spridget A-Series!
