Hello jack,

       hmmm.... on mine (a '66) the 3 positions are ...

       1). off
       2). headlights ONLY (no tail lights, no parking lights just
       HEADLIGHTS!)
       3). headlights, taillights, parking lights, all on.

       this probably isn't right either!@? but its like a "stealth
       mode" in #2, so i haven't bothered to re-arrange it. ..

       most likely a DPO has simply put the wires in the wrong spots
       on the switch during a "restoration"... ..

       i don't mess with something that's "working" from LUCAS..
       (don't mess with the prince of darkness!)
