I had Bill Perry put a tab on the upper side for me when he rebuilt my
engine. When I requested it, he told me that it was a fairly common request
(imagine that) and that he was strongly considering making it a standard
feature of his rebuilds. He also cut four grooves in the damper at 0, 10, 20
and 30 degrees.
