I also found the VP7 just a bit too much for the street. I was fouling
plugs way too fast. But there are way toooooooo many traffic lights in
this town.

I've been running my VP7 now for ~7 years, both in traffic and on the open
road. I'd consider it to be pretty tame... Idle is even and plugs stay
relatively clean with stock head and NGK BP7 plugs, I am running the hotter
Lucas sports coil and keep the idle and low rpm mixture a little on the lean
side. I was actually thinking about going to an SVP3 cam for the street,
but don't want to pull the motor if I happen to knock out one of the cam
bearings...
Anyone have any info on stock piston sizes for 1275's?
