Get this!
Yesterday morning I was getting stuff for work out of my garage, I hit
the garage door opener button and Ka-BOOM! The overhead door hit the 8'
flouresent fixture and sent an 8' tube crashing down length ways along
the yellow Sprite. Bonnet off, engine exposed, interior exposed, and new
paint. fortunately only 1 very tiny chip on the edge of the cowl and I
think the cockpit trim will hide it. But I did have glass everywhere.
Glass imbeded in the new carpet, all over the engine in all the nooks
and crannys, on the blue Sprite, and all over the floor.
So why did this happen? Same door, same opener, same light fixture for 2
years now. Tonight it did not hit, why did it hit yesterday?
It never hit at 0* nor at 100* so 40* should not have mattered. It was
40 tonight and it didn't hit.
Spirits? Gremlins? Leap year? I don't have a clue.
