When you bid it is a "proxy" bid. Lets say the current bid is $32.00 the next 
bid will be 2.50 higher so you put in a bid that is your highest of 75.00. If 
there is a bidder that put in 85.00 as his high two hrs. ago you loose. If 
you want to be sure to win bid sooner so you can go higher if you choose to.
