Um.... pardonez moi..... 2 backs would leave NO HOLES for heater tubes.
But, there IS an "optional extra" Fresh air unit assembly part number 
13H56.  Sans core, and hence sans holes. Remember, the heater was an option 
early on. I guess later on, fresh air was an option. How else would you 
duct to the vent system?
