Black and white commercial floor tiles (about .60 cents each)
Glue them down, they are color cored so even if you chip one, it's still 
colored. Easy to clean, oil friendly and it looks cool!
Drawback is it's a witch to keep clean if you work out in the garage ;)
If the concrete is new, go for the epoxy finish with the speckles in it.
The speckles hide all the dirt and any small bits you drop on the floor.
Do not use epoxy over already painted or oily concrete.
There is also a concrete stain out these days, I have heard of it but 
have not seen it applied.
And the old standby, concrete paint. Looks good for a few years and is 
easy enough to recoat when it gets nasty looking.
