When I bought my 948 Bugeye it came with an excessive oil leak out of the back of the engine area. What I noticed on the drive home was that some half wit mechanic had connected the tappet cover breather to the rocker cover breather with a rubber hose...thus no breathing going on at all. Removing the rubber hose from between the two helped a whole bunch. I'm not suggesting this is your problem, just sharing an oil leak story. Howard Collins 60' AH Bugeye 69' Austin Cooper S |
