I once got stuck in Presque Isle, Maine
for a couple of days due to a mechanical
on the aircraft I had been assigned two
days prior. Temp was about -44F WITH
the wind chill factor.
I would have killed myself but the mechs
got the problem fixed in late PM of 2nd
day so we got out of there, headed
South at great speed. 20F in BOS that
evening felt like a heat wave to the extent
it got me thinking about the beach. :)
