Heh, heh....
I have known and dealt with John over
a period of nearly 30 years, "on" and
"off". The 'off' times occurred because
John could be real tough to deal with
back when.
John Peters has BECOME a nice guy....
he was anything BUT many years ago,
back when he was married to his first
wife (whom I never met).
Then John got divorced and met his
present wife, an ex-AAirlines flight
attendant. Presto-mundo...."new"
John!
Boy...you want to talk about how important your choice of a personal
mate
is to your own personal happiness?
Well..John's case is definitley a case in
point...literally, "night and day", "black
and white"! :):)
Not that he's become a "pushover"...
'cause he's not. But he has mellowed and
become the nice guy he is today...much
more pleasant demeanor and a helluva
lot easier to deal with in a "reasonable"
way.
His wife works right along side him in the
business on a day by day basis (both kids
are grown and finishing college). She is
bright, intelligent, knowledgeable and
hard working....an absolute sweetheart
with a terrific sense of fun and humor.
I wish I were this lucky...she is an absolute doll of a person and
certainly
has had a salutory affect on her
husband. She keeps a cat in the store.
He sleeps on John's desk. Either by or
"on" his computer.
John "has no use for the GD cat".....
and treats him with great affection!! :):)
