My alternator is not charging below 1.2K with the lights on. It is worse if the wipers are running. I have no clue about the age of the unit so I figure it might be time to replace the sucker. My choices are: 1. Replace with a stock unit. 2. Ask Frank about the his favorite Jap alternator. 3. Ask Graz about which GM unit fits and how to modify the mounting. 4. Never slow down below 1.3K RPMs, which is hard in NJ I think I am going to go with a big honking GM unit. Any thoughts? -- William M. Gilroy 77 Midget 95 Toyota 01 Irish Terrier |
