It's a damn good thing your around to explain this stuff to me! 'Cause
it makes
no sense, traditionally accepted understanding or not. I'm sorry...this
whole idea of barking up the wrong (or right) tree is just not
acceptable to the
"reasoning" mind...:)
"To bark" (or the act of "barking", as it were:) is to make a sound,
right?
So, how do you make a sound "up" (or "down") a tree...or anything else
for that matter?..but you can bark AT something
or someone which may be in or on a tree.
Unless you just happen to be a weirdo
who goes around simply barking at trees, occupied by living creatures or
not....
I'm sorry...I just can't handle this anymore...it's too much...the
pressure
is just overbearing. I shall go out
and "consider" over a jumbo coffee! :)
