There is a weep hole in the bottom of the water pump, just behind the fan
clutch. Whenyour water pump bearing goes bad, coolant leaks out of that weep
hole--a way of signaling that the pump is AWOL. It may appear to be coming
from
the water pump pulley. If this is the case, you do need to replace the water
pump. Fairly simple job--everything is up front.
