Jim Remove the guts from the housing, where the green wire spade terminal on the back of the tach is, inside, it is attached to a wire. Next to that wire is a resistor, What you have to do is.... Unsolder the wire from the spade terminal, cut the resitor, switch the resistor with the wire and solder them up.
