I've recently purchased a race head (that I'm going to use on my street
Sprite) that has the Cooper S stud holes with use with 12 studs. Is there
any issue with using a 12 stud head with just the standard setup with the
fewer studs? I'm not really interested in pulling the motor and drilling
the block for more studs... Is there any downsides to just bolting it on
with just the 10 studs and leaving the remaining stud holes open? Any
warnings or suggestions?
