The actual movement of the jet is a
function of the choke cable. Pull the
choke cable and they "fall" providing
a richer A/F ratio. Push the cable in
and the jets should return to the full
up position ("choke-less"!).
If there is resistance then something
is bent or just maybe, the jet isn't fully
"centered", though almost so.
Usually, If the latter is the
case, the air valve, if lifted and released,
is probably not falling at the same rate
as the other carb (different sounding
"thunk"!) which hasn't got this "sticking"
problem. Give it a check?
