AFAIK, UK 1500 Spits (and RB Midgets) had twin HS4 (1.5") carbs, from 1975 on.
1300 and 1147 Spits had twin HS2 (1.25") carbs. 1300 manifolds will bolt right
up to 1500 heads, so it is possible to run a 1500 with twin HS2's.
