Thanks for the responses to my pedistal question. It's a-soakin and I'll give
it a go tomorrow. Now for a more perplexing question.
I've got a regrind cam in the 1500 - a TS Imported 275. I put the head on the
1500 tonight, torqued it down. Then put the rocker shaft on and torqued it
down. A couple of the rockers toward the rear of the engine seem to have too
much space between the rocher and the valve. I have two pics:

The first photo is a bit blurry, but the second is pretty clear. My concern is
that there's not enough travel in the adjuster to take up all that slack.
Engine is at TDC, #1 compression in photo. I think my cam timing is correct,
according to Bentley. Engine turns over by hand.
