Well, I will tell you, the coil it MIGHT
just be. But if you replace it and it doesn't
do the trick, I'd take a look at those chokes in the carb. If they were
sized for
a hotter motor and if they're anything over
36........ok...don't want to beat a dead
horse....you get the idea.
Alex....you have points or electronic set-up? Except for the Lucas Sport
Coil,
I think others can be used no matter what.
You've got PerTronix (I have this) Jacobs,
Accel, MSD, Lucas and a whole bunch of
good, performance coils out there to choose from, Alex. Hard to find a
bad one
among the bunch. Just stay with known
performance names and you really can't
miss.
