You can get original flasher units made by Lucas (in England) from Holden in the
UK. They offer a repro screw type connector or an original Lucas (early 70s
vintage) Lucar connector type fitting unit. I ordered one of the Lucas units
during my restoration drilled out the Lucar connectors, tapped it and used
screws
to connect it and it works perfectly. The dash light works in synch with the
turn signal lights. The repro goes for 10.98 pounds and the Lucas unit goes for
5.98 pounds. Go figure. ( http//www.holden,co,uk ) Click on e-catalog and
and type in part number 35010 then check part number 35020. A nice picture
pops up and the price. You can order over the internet. No financial interest,
yada, yada. Get the catalogs, alot of neat original Lucas lighting.
