Aren't most Honda motors made of aluminum? Could it
be that they are so flimsy, they are easier to warp?

Andrew....
Not enough info to know specifically and
exactly the circumstance they are talking
about. But if they are inimating that mere
retorquing of the head after simple replacement of a blown head gasket
results in unseating of the PISTON rings
due to distortion of the block, I would
highly doubt this.
'Course, I'll blow it
by my mechanic tomorrow morning for
the hell of it 'cause what the hell do I
know about Japanese engines except
the seem to run forever! :)
