Here's how I'd restore the 64. Drill out rivets for id plate. lift id plate and roll car out from under. Roll chassis from 74 properly prepared under said id plates and affix with appropriate rivets. Attach 64 sprite fenders, bumpers, grill, dashboard. Finished car would have best combination of both models, least amount of hoops to jump through when registering.
