68 and 69 Sprites were pale yellow, just about the same color as Bugeye
primrose.

My bugeye and my bro-in-laws 69 were painted from the same can.
PPG color D6 (or 6D, I forget) It was matched to a 71 Ford color.
I met someone with a concours Bugeye painted primrose, I parked my yellow
Bugeye next to theirs.
Their car looked greenish next to mine and they told me that mine was the
"correct" primrose. I told them it was a Ford color but they said it was what
their cars was supposed to look like.
I just matched the inside of the 69 Sprite trunk lid to a chip at the paint
shop. I don't go nuts with colors.
Like PIECES, it's not realy iris or speedwell blue, it's a fleet color real
close and I think it's called Florida blue.
