There was a post in this on going saga of Mike's overheating Bugeye, (mine
tended to run hot before I tore it apart, now it just doesn't run) about
diverting the heater air intake air hose to the carburetor so the engine is
breathing cooler air. Sounds good to me, except I don't know how you can get
it cross over without having the fan chew it up or squashing it between the
valve cover and bonnet.
But has anyone ever tried putting a similar opening and hose on the other
side of the bonnet? As I have my engine compartment completely empty at the
moment I can't tell if something would get in the way.
