In my experience, any sway bar is better than none, and the 3/4" is more
better. My car went from driving like the back tires were running 10 psi
(without bar), to cornering grip so good that I started to worry about the
door latches holding. I have not yet run it in Solo II, but am confident
that the large bar got it close to competitive level without any other
changes (I do insist on pretty good tires, of course).

PS, sometimes the 3/4" bars are on sale from one or another supplier.
