Would somebody give me a lecture on gearcases please.
I have a troublesome gearcase in my Bugeye, Sprite 59.
It jumps out of 2nd when letting the foot off the pedal,
and growles when i gear down.
As parts for this thing isn't avaliable what are my choises?
I know AH Spares in UK deliver reconditioned smoothcase
gearboxes, but i have also heard mentioned ribcase gearbox.
These ribcase gearboxes are apparently less complex and parts
are readily avaliable. Would a ribcase gearbox be a better
choice, and where do i get hold of one either recond. or
new.
