I wish Bob well, Annice. I didn't have fusion, but did have a laminectomy
(disc removal) 21 years ago. It was extremly successful--I now have no
limitations as far as my back is concerned. Have led many wilderness
expeditions with a heavy backpack with no adverse effects. Hope Bob's back
heals as well as mine did.
