Re: Oil pump replacement

For the price of the pump, it is very good insurance. Hate to go through all
the expense and work just to have the old worn oil pump not properly
lubricate my nice new bearings and journals.

As a side note - Chevy would not guarentee a short block unless the oil pump
was replaced.
