I have this in my Sprite. It is very pricey, but it does work. It
virtually eliminates the resonance you get from the unibody construction on
the road. It mainly works to cut down on road noise, it doesn't have any
effect on heat transfer. It works best if you cover the entire interior,
and the trunk, but you don't have to, just make sure you cover at least a
part of every metal panel, doors included. JC Whitney sells a product
similar to Dynamat, which works quite well. It is a bit heavier, and stinks
to high heaven, but since we've got convertibles, the aroma dissipates
within a couple of weeks.
