Thank you to all the participants in this question. I have already replaced the
7's with 6's and the car runs so much better. I was getting my points and
condenser from an import place in Ft. Worth. They carry Beck Arnley, which the
last set took me a grand total of 500 miles before crapping out on me. Thank the
lord, I had Robert Houston and his cousin Don in their infinite kindness,
following me just in case I had trouble. I found that my local parts store
carries
Blue Streak condensers and Standard points. I can list the #'s if anyone needs
them. The points even come with an oil felt to keep the block
lubricated.................. Brad
