I have however seen advice about the Synthetic oil, and that was to break a new engine in on regular oil and switch to synthetic after break in. Seems the synthetic is too slippery to let anything seat. This is the engine that I've been running for 4 months. I broke it in with 20W40 regular oil and then switched to Mobile One. See, I listen to what is put out over the net! Roger |
