Thanks for all the replies so quickly.. since it's a nice day out I'm going 
to go check out some of the things mentioned. David C., the jerking is like 
front-to-back.. like it wants to speed up but it can't.. almost like a 
"sputter" but it's not that dramatic.. YET. I will have my trusty Haynes 
guide with me so I know where to look and let you all know if I find 
anything... wish me luck.
