FWIW (and only my opinion) on compressors.
Oil less vibrating compressors have their place as do oil lubed
compressors.
I have one of each.
I use the oil less portable for work, I can bring it in and set in on
some ones carpet and run a nail gun or most other air tool. It is noisy
but it works and makes no mess. It also will need nylon seals after a
couple years of use.
The oil filled compressors seem more powerfull, are a bit more quite
last forever as long as you keep an eye on the oil level, and recover
much faster then oil less.
Which one should you buy?
If an occasional air tool is used like an impact wrench, paint gun,
small sanding job or even shooting some nails, get an oil less.
If you plan on air chisel work, DA sanding, sand blasting, or long board
sanding, go for the oil filled model.
5 hp minimum, 2 jugs are better than one, 30 gallons are nice, and 220
volts saves in the long run.
Then again 20 hp is much better, 90 gallons are great and 440/3 phase
would be sure to keep up with any/all your compressed air needs. (on my
wish list and will always be on my wish list never in my garage)
