Should work on a 1098 with a 1275 back plate gasket and 1275 oil pump
cover.
The oil pump on a 1098 is located in a slightly different place than on a
1275 and the 1098 uses a smaller oil pump cover. That's the need for the
bigger cover and 1275 gasket.

Re: back motor plate
Oops, I bought a back motor plate from someone on the net and didn't
ask..oops.
Will the 1275cc back motor plate fit the 1098cc motor ? and if not why
not ? can I make it work ? How much should I expect to pay for one at a
wrecking yard if I need one ?
