EGADS! You guys can be so CHEAP! Apparently few of you have not or
do not own a Bugeye where the norm was to try and drive , hold the
choke and shift , all at the same time with just two hands, as the
choke when released from your grip would return to the off position.
You people can be so cheap with your make do philosophy. Get a grip!
Choke cables are CHEAP! , listing for as little as $8.45 from MOSS .
The toughest part is the installation, but how often does that need to
be done? Get off your "Lazy Ass" and quite being "The DPO" who is now
the "PO" and do a good , creditable job of maintaining your cars
withOUT baling wire, silicon , bondo and vise grips. For all of you
cheapies out there ,that genuinely need one, I will supply you with
the one you want at my cost, and I will even pay the postage, all you
need do is supply me with the part # that you want and pay in advance.
If you order the wrong one, T/S, you still own it as you will be the
one that gave the part #.

O.K., My flamesuit is on and I can take the heat, so let me have it
with both barrels!

                     BRAD, SPOKANE,WASHINGTON!

'tis the way I've been doing it! When not in use I store it
by placing it on the right side stalk switch arm
The length and diameter of my tube allows me 3 preset positions.

1-placed around the choke lever shaft between the knob bottom and the
dash
2-placed between the knob rim and the dash
3-the diameter of the tube between the knob bottom and the dash

Dave: A bit more elegant" way is to use a chunk of 1/4" fuel hose
slit lengthwise and slip it over the exposed shaft. Larry
