Jay,
It was episode 006110 of My Classic Car on Speedvision.
According to Speedvisions schedule it will be shown again on the
21st. Can't find any times!
The MKII Sprite and MKI Midget were number one of the top ten
sleeper list put out by Editor Dave Brownell which will be
featured in Special Interest Autos, Hemmings collector car
magazine. However, it was listed as follows; "1 1962-64
Austin-Healey Springs and/or Mark I MG Midgets" .
I have to agree with the "experts", as I too own a MKII Sprite,
HAN6L/10879. It is 90+% original and is a high silver level
concours car (933 points) (lost 15 points for having the original
Dunlop Goldseals and 2 more points for a loose socket on the
right headlight, otherwise a gold level ORIGINAL car with, as of
today, 1734 original miles. It was appraised at $7600.00 but
when compared to bugeye prices for a car in equal condition,
woefully underpriced/valued in my opinion.
My thoughts.
