I have made large sections of harness to include a conversion from dynamo to
alternator, electronic ign, headlamp relay. I use correctly rated wire of
the correct colour pattern that I buy new here in the UK (But Ed of JustBrits
may have some for sale). I use brass bullet connectors which I solder and
semi-crimp. I use new bullet connectors. I can't recall having electrical
problems other than with bodges that I made over a decade ok. Car is a 69.
If I was doing the work again or from scratch I would definitely use multi
pin aerospace connectors.
