The three functions of the skin are generally considered to be;
1. Protection from germs. (I'm being generic here)
2. Regulate body temperature. ( Skin respiration is also thermal
regulation.)
3.Keep body fluids in.


Gee a lot of people responded to this little query which surprised me.
No one got 100 % but most were in the ball park.
