I thought that my fuel pump had gone bad on the 65 from sitting, I ran
continuity tests on all the wires and I was getting power to it and it had
sufficient ground. I thought, what the hell, it's what Frank Clarici would do.
I got my plastic headed mallet I use for hitting the knockoffs and went to
wailing on the contact end with it ( if it is broke, what can it hurt) and in
a matter of 3-4 whacks I got the steady click, click, click that I was
listening for out of it.
Did Willie drive a Spridget? I wish you had asked that about 2 years ago,
because Charlie ( his brother) lived a couple of miles from me, and he and my
dad were friends. Unfortunately Charlie passed away about a year and a half
ago. There should be a fan based website that can answer that question. Or at
least start up a long thread about it....
