Re: NEVER Reverse your Flywheel Ring!!!

David,  You cannot reverse the ring gear on the early cars it only goes on
one way.  I never posted about the 1500's cause I have never seen one and
really wouldn't know.
    I had the ring gear on my chevy 6 turned around 10 years ago with no
problems, maybe that was what the machinest was thinking.
    Pull the starter and see if you can push start the car. You might also
want to try a direct drive starter and see if it would work.
    In any case you are now the list's 1500 flywheel expert, eat your heart
