The project I purchased last year is as far as I wanted to take it. The car
is a white 1978 Midget with 1500 engine and rubber bumpers. 69,000 miles.
Absolutely zero rust, always a California car. Complete with all necessary
California emissions equipment. Passed Smog check in January, some smog
items since removed to improve derivability, easily reinstalled. Runs very
smoothly, transmission shifts well, and clutch feels good. No body damage,
but paint is a little thin along panel edges like tops of rear wings. Brand
new Michelin 145/13 Rainforce tires on repainted rostyle wheels, very good
convertible top with clear windows, full toneau cover with a couple of small
holes, also a top boot. Black interior in good condition. Brakes are firm
and have braided stainless brake lines. Luggage rack on rear deck. AM/FM
stereo with cassette. Car is in Chico California. Offered to the list
first, then will post on various bulletin boards. Drive it now with no work
