We have used 175-70x13 BF Goodrich T/A tires on our Sprites with 5 inch panasports with no clearance problems. You do have to make sure that your rear axle bushings are good to avoid excessive lateral transfer of the rear axle during autocross or hard cornering and subsequent tire rubbing against the rear fender flange.
