Just a thought but, I put in an ammeter years ago and have had no trouble. The attachment nuts are nylocks and I painted "liquid tape" on the connectors. By the way, it is a Ford model 'A' meter,------slightly smaller than the gas guage, black with white numbers and looks"period" Brithish. Got it from JC Whittney.---------------Bob C |
