They closed the office even to employees so no-one get a first class view.  I 
stayed at home anyway.

I doubt if the Thames on fire was that good because if it had been all the 
spectators at the riverbanks would have got burnt!  I think they had barges 
at the very middle of the river so the fire would jump from barge to barge.
