I am the proud(?) possessor of a 53 Austin Champ military pseudo jeepish
lump. It has, separate from the gearbox, the forward/reverse selector
enabling 1st-4th in either direction..... I suspect it isn't synchronized,
though I haven't tried ;-) It has many other "quirky" features, too many
to mention!
