The Mania front cover plate is a stock cover machined to take a proper oil
seal. The price is around $60 with a $20 core charge. They sometimes make
them up to order so you need to tell them which cover you have and/or send
in the one you want modified. They work just great. I have one which
survived the thrashings of a crankshaft breaking at 7200. The aluminum
cover sustained two small cracks, but with a little metal glue as a fix, the
seal continues to keep the housing dry.
