I'm not sure I really understand the problem. On my 1275, I loosen/tighten the dizzy clamp using a 7/16 deep socket on a long extension approaching from the front of the engine at an angle. The nut on the dizzy clamp faces forward and up at an angle. The socket and shaft fit nicely between the oil bypass pipe and the side of the block. chuck |
