Yes, that is the intent is to re-assemble the car (not original) the way I have
always wanted one. BTW just got back from getting a UL-LBC (un loved) for $50
today. It's an HAN6L/20720 which if I read my Horler correctly puts the build at
May 62. The engine & tranny are gone but I got the sidescreen frames, nice
umarred
windscreen, the generator with the coil mounted on top but I don't see where the
tach hooks in, a Smiths RN 2351/02 tach that seems to work well on my drill, two
dual cylinder Masters with the metal tops (did some brake line loosening on the
car and it spurted out fluid so I hope that is a good sign), Frank, I have this
fuel pump, its an SU pressure pump type L, part# 4080 any idea what the H*!!
this
may have come off of?? Heck I even found one of those fat washer bottles that
somebody mentioned the other day shoved up under the right wing, the darn thing
is
still in the grey bracket (no rust) and the plastic is flexible. It's missing
the
top, does it use the same top and tube as the later bottle?? All in all I think
I
got my moneys worth of parts and the best part is that the car hull (which I did
not need & no title) will live again as an autocrosser. I gave it to my friend
who
helped me get the parts off the doner Frogeye and got the 62 home for me. He has
plans to make it gofast. so much for my sunday, did the Cowboys win? Brad
