Thanks to everyone who emailed helpful hints. After careful consideration, I
decided to order rebuilt ones. The cost will be off-set by the time savings
but most importantly, the safety factor. No sense in screwing around with
the braking system - pay to get it right.

I would urge great care and attention in the rebuilding of brake masters,
for obvious reasons. The pitting that occurs from moisture in the bore is
often far too deep to be honed out. This can leave rough spots that will
just abrade the rubber cups, potentially leading to leakage or failure.
IMHO, it's much wiser to take the time and spend the money to have the bores
resleeved with brass to provide a long and safe service life.
